As I live in the wilds of north west Scotland, I wanted a product that would make my bed a cosier place in the dead of winter. A duvet is essential, but I thought perhaps if I had something soft and warm underneath too, I would be even warmer. This product is perfect for doing just that. It is soft and warm, keeping one cosy but not as if in a sauna…overheating doesn’t happen owing to the goose feathering. In fact, my bedtimes are now so snug that the minus temperatures are now far from my thoughts and my sleeping! I suspect that my dogs, two rather ancient Jacks, have cottoned onto how lovely life is in my bed as I keep finding them buried betwixt duvet and goose topper and their deafness seems somewhat worse when asked to leave this comfort. My pregnant daughter also benefitted from the softness and comfort of the topper at Christmas…and went home having had a week without aching hips.
This may seem like a luxury item, but a good sleep is not a luxury but more an essential to aid good living, so in my books this product is definitely an essential.
Is it time yet for bed?

Do not buy this item. I told my health visitor that I had purchased one and was using it, she was concerned as she had never come across it before. She contacted soemone from Fsids organisation who recommended that it not be used as it was not safe.

I bought this product as: my new born does not like to sleep in the cot; can be colicky and is very active and throws her arms and legs around a lot. As previously noted there are no real instructions on how to position your baby correctly and at just 2 weeks old at 10lb I found her legs were hanging over the end and it has not helped her to settle. The main problem, however, is that on two occassions my baby her rolled herself over the side of one of the support spondges and ended up crumpled next to the bars. As a result of this I have stopped using this prouct as it is not suitable for my active baby already. I also found the quality to be poor and I didnt feel the angle of the foam was comfortable for her in the cot.

I bought this item as my baby has acid reflux and thought it might help. My baby was only 3 weeks at the time. I was woken in the night by a muffled cry and found my baby had wriggled up the sleep positioner and then rolled off the side at an angle and was face down on the mattress, he was clearly struggling and god forbid what would have happened if I hadn’t have woken up. I would not recommend this product.

Was slightly worried about ordering a mattress online that I had never seen but it is definitely the best mattress we have ever bought. Extremely comfortable best nights sleep and the only downside is how warm the bed actually gets but that was rectified when we switched to a 3-tog duvet. I would definitely purchase a mattress from this company again.

We bought this after sleeping on 1 while on holiday on Skye. It’s so comfortable, like sleeping in a giant marsh mellow. Best nights sleep ever. Very swift delivery, came next day. Was vacuum packed so easy to man over into position.

Just hate washing this product, after just a couple of washes the fabric became very pilled (bobblely)and looked quite old. On the positive side the colours and design very good, my daughter loved it.
